Tom Gamblin played Santa for 9 seasons in THE RADIO CITY CHRISTMAS SPECTACULAR in Denver, Detroit, and Los Angeles. Erik Satie in THE FARTISTE at the NY Fringe Festival where it won Best Musical. 1st National Tour of TITANIC played Jim Farrell, u/s Barrett; Dustin, Poppa & Greaseball in STARLIGHT EXPRESS in Las Vegas and Germany. JP Morgan, u/s Father, Dance Captain in RAGTIME at Paper Mill Playhouse, NJ; FDR in ANNIE at Carousel Dinner Theater, OH.

Marilyn Maye rang in the 2023 New Year's with a weekend of Holiday shows in the Birdland Theater just down the street from Times Square. As the ball dropped, the toasts went up and the songs poured out. With 4 nights of shows, from Dec 29th to Jan 1st (7 shows in all), she provided a proper musical CHEERS to the NYC audience. Amazing Maye!

The Manhattan Association of Cabarets (MAC) is pleased to announce the 2018 MAC Award nominees. The nominees, in a majority of the categories, were determined by votes cast by the active MAC membership. The MAC Board of Directors selected the nominees for Show of the Year. Special committees selected the nominees in the Ensemble Instrumentalist, Piano Bar Instrumentalist, Piano Bar Singing Entertainer (Female; Male), Recording (LaMott Friedman), Major Recording, Song and Comedy/Novelty Song categories. The names of the songwriters in the Song and Comedy/Novelty Song categories are being withheld during the voting period, but will be announced publicly as soon as the voting period concludes.

Last night, Monday August 21, the actress and singer Emily Ellet was mobbed by her many friends and admirers in the audience when it was announced that she had eeked out a photo-finish win in one of the most competitive MetroStar contests in years. Her outstanding mini-set, in which she delivered a dazzingly original interpretation of the '80s disco anthem 'It's Raining Men,' put her ahead of the other four MetroStar finalists, each of whom delivered nearly flawless performances.
