BET's New Legal Drama IN CONTEMPT To Premiere April 10
BET's new series “In Contempt” is an hour-long procedural set in the fast-paced world of a legal aid office in New York City. Flipping the script on the typical legal drama, the show takes away the designer suits and rich defendants and features talented and passionate non-profit lawyers fighting for society's most vulnerable citizens. “In Contempt” premieres April 10 at 10PM ET.

Today the producers announced that Layon Gray's acclaimed new play, Black Angels Over Tuskegee, would continue its run at the Actors Temple Theater (339 West 47th Street, between 8th and 9th Avenues), beginning June 5th. It is currently at St. Luke's Theatre until Monday May 31st.

Truvillion, Genet, And Gupton Join The Cast Of INKED BABY
Playwrights Horizons, under the leadership of Artistic Director Tim Sanford and Managing Director Leslie Marcus, has announced additional casting and complete details for the World Premiere of INKED BABY, a new play by 2007 Susan Smith Blackburn nominee Christina Anderson in her Off-Broadway playwriting debut.
Directed by Kate Whoriskey (Fabulation at Playwrights Horizons, the current Ruined at MTC), the production will begin previews on Thursday, March 5, 2009 with an Opening Night set for Monday, March 23 at 7PM. The limited engagement will run through Sunday, April 5 at Playwrights Horizons' Peter Jay Sharp Theater (416 West 42nd Street).
