Tina M. Newhauser

Tina began her professional Stage Management career in the mid 80's working for such companies as Porthouse Theatre and Crossroads Theatre. After working regionally for more than 10 yrs she made the move to NYC. Upon arrival she had the opportunity to stage manage with artists such as Hugh Jackman, Stephanie J. Block, Isabel Keating, Frank Gorshin, Brian Murray and Andre DeShields to name a few. She soon began to freelance in the industrial events sector and SM'd large business theatre events for companies such as: Samsung, NASA, Mastercard, and Abbott Lab. After stage managing more than 450 productions and events Tina began her Production Management career and was soon managing for the Capital Center on touring events like YES, BB King, Indigo Girls, Train and many Broadway National tours. 200 touring events later, working as General Manger for the Cullen Performance Hall in Houston TX, and having 2 children Tina now resides in MI as an Academic Specialist with Michigan Stage University's College of Arts and Letters and is helping to create a new Arts and Cultural Management degree program.
