Award-Winning Workshop Theater Company Announces 21st Season
WorkShop Theater Company, the New York Innovative Theatre Award-winning and Drama Desk Award-nominated theater company focused on developing new work, has announced its 21st season, featuring Dana Leslie Goldstein's drama Daughters of the Sexual Revolution; Food, Glorious Food: a feast of new plays, a food-themed short play festival; and a new mission.
10th Anniversary WILL-A-THON to Be Held 4/22-4/27
The play's the only thing when WorkShop Theater Company presents The WILL-A-THON 10th Anniversary Bard-Stravaganza! featuring Tony Award Winner, Mr. Richard Easton with three different shows performed on six nights, written by William Shakespeare, and conceived and directed by Charles E. Gerber. A Special Event in the Main Stage Theater at WorkShop Theater Company, 312 West 36 Street on the 4th floor, Monday thru Saturday, April 22 thru April 27, 2013, at 8:00 PM each night, the WILL-A-THON features the acting company of Will's Playshop, intoxicating love songs, poetry, scenes both dramatic and comedic, and culminates in "A Shakespearean Evening with Richard Easton" in the final performance, Saturday, April 27th.

The WorkShop Theater Company (Scott C. Sickles, Artistic Director), as part of its 2011-2012 Main Stage season, proudly presents Beneath the Hush, a Whisper, a work of historical fiction by new playwright, Abigail Somma, directed by Tom Herman. Beneath the Hush, a Whisper, set at the United Nations in the 1950's tells the story of a British diplomat, assigned to work with Secretary-General Dag Hammarskjold on a project that will change the course of history. As his work begins, the conflicted UN appointee faces a personal crisis that tests his idealism and integrity.

WorkShop Theater Company (Timothy Scott Harris, Artistic Director), currently in its 15th season, will present the world premiere of Kathryn Chetkovich's 'SHE SAID, SHE SAID,' directed by Peter Sylvester. 'SHE SAID, SHE SAID' will be performed at the WorkShop Theater, 312 West 36th Street (between 8th and 9th Avenues), 4th floor Main Stage Theater. Previews begin Thursday, March 12, and the Official Opening Night will be Monday, March 16 at 7:00 p.m. Performances are scheduled to run through Saturday, April 4.

The WorkShop Theater Company, Artistic Director Timothy Scott Harris and Managing Director David Pincus are pleased to announce as its next main stage production The Guest at Central Park West, the 2007 Audelco award winning play, written by Levy Lee Simon, starring John Marshall Jones and directed by Thomas Cote. The production begins previews Wednesday, February 20th at 8:00 pm and opens Monday, February 25th at 8:00 pm.
