IMOTHY DUNN is a Midwestern boy at heart, hailing from the Windy City. Of Chicago. With his BS in Communications from Northwestern University in tow, Tim moved to New York and was thrilled to join the company of the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in January 2008, where he's been an actor on Maude Night with teams "mixtape '98," "GORILLA GORILLA," and "Neighbor Boy!"
In addition to Maude Night, Tim has been seen on the UCB stage as one-half of the two-person sketch show, "How Rude: Tim & D'Arcy Find the 90s!", as President Rutherford B. Hayes in the comedic one-act play, "Waiting for Obama: A Night at the Disney Hall of Presidents," co-directing and performing in the musical sketch show "Sing Out, Louise," trying to help rent out the UCB Theatre as a cast member of "This is Not a Skech Show: A Sketch Show," getting handies as Brad Sacks in "Brad Sacks Gets a Handjob," as the infamous Chris Harrison, host of TV's "The Bachelor" in "The Bachelor: Romance, Roses, and Romance," and as a proud member of the superstar sketch team "Tremendous Machine." Tim also produces video content for UCBComedy.com, formerly with the web-comedy teams, "Diamonds, Wow!" and "The Punch," and currently with web-comedy team, "Scraps."
Outside of UCB, Tim's performed Off and Off-Off Broadway, as a nationally-heard voice actor, a commercial actor and a live event and television host. He writes, too. Duh. Among other credits, Tim has been featured on Conan, in NBC's "Celebrity Apprentice" promos, as a segment host on "Toni On New York!" (WPIX-NY11), and on THE ANIMAL PLANET, where his latest comedy/hosting project, PET-O-RAMA, enjoyed a nice run. Woo hoo!
Tim loves insanely spicy foods, strong coffee, and fake fighting with his goofy pitbull pup, Harry.
Most recently, Tim was named head writer for www.twitter.com/timothydunn. "It's a huge, huge honor," he never said.
