Texas Ballet Theater Announces In-Person 2021-2022 Season
Texas Ballet Theater will return to its resident performance venues in the 2021-2022 season, starting with the holiday favorite The Nutcracker. The nonprofit ballet company will open its season with The Nutcracker, choreographed by TBT Artistic Director Ben Stevenson, O.B.E., at Winspear Opera House in Dallas November 26.

Texas Ballet Theater will replace its upcoming February and March productions with digital performances in response to pandemic-related safety protocols. The ballet company originally planned to present Serenade/Star Crossed/World Premiere by Tim O’Keefe in February 2021 at both Bass Performance Hall in Fort Worth and Winspear Opera House.

Daddy, the duo comprised of James Franco and Tim O'Keefe, have premiered the visuals for 'You Are Mine (B. Trust Remix)' via Highsnobiety here. The video was directed by Chinese filmmaker Zheng Lu Xinyuan. 'You Are Mine (B. Trust Remix)' comes from Daddy's latest project Let Me Get What I Want - The Remixes album, released in September here. The pair previously shared the visuals for 'Lime Green Dress (Martin Van Etten Remix) with BULLETT here and 'I Am All These Things (City of the Jaguar Remix)' with PAPER Magazine here.
Katha Dance Theatre to Premiere THE RUBAIYAT " LIFE IN A DAY, 11/7-9
Katha Dance Theatre (KDT) presents the world premiere of THE RUBAIYAT - LIFE IN A DAY, based on the poetry of Omar Khayyam. The haunting, melancholy musings of the Persian philosopher-poet are brought to life in vivid detail by choreographer Rita Mustaphi (KDT founder/artistic director) and the company dancers of Katha Dance Theatre. The new work will debut Today-Sunday, November 7-9, at the Cowles Center for Dance and the Performing Arts, 528 Hennepin Ave. in downtown Minneapolis.
