BIO

Tim Kazurinsky quit the ad biz to join Chicago’s famed Second City Theatre (1977-1980). He was a cast member of NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” (1981-84) and played Officer Sweetchuck in three Police Academy films. A 20-year stint as a screenwriter (My Bodyguard, About Last Night, For Keeps, The Cherokee Kid, Strange Relations) followed. His pal George Wendt dragged Tim back on stage to do The Odd Couple. Most recently, he performed in A Midsummer Night’s Dream at Chicago Shakespeare Theater, Old Jews Telling Jokes and, for the past year, played the Wizard of Oz in the 1st national tour of Wicked.
