Actor Tim Cummings Publishes Debut Novel, ALICE THE CAT, May 23
Tim Cummings, a four-time LA Drama Critics Circle Award-winning performer (The New Electric Ballroom at Rogue Machine, The Normal Heart at The Fountain, The House in Scarsdale at Boston Court, Daniel's Husband at The Fountain) will release his debut novel, Alice The Cat, on May 23rd, 2023 through Fitzroy Books, the young-adult imprint of the award-winning indie press, Regal House Publishing (Foreword's Publisher of the Year).

This Spotlight focuses on Simon Levy who began his directing career in San Francisco, then moved to Los Angeles in 1990 where he has been the Producing Director for the Fountain Theatre since 1993. His directing and producing credits are numerous, with over 100 productions in Los Angeles and San Francisco that have won more than 200 awards. His journey has been blessed with having wonderful mentors along the way, which has enabled the talented director to earn his living doing theatre and earned him great respect from the entire L.A. Theatre community.

Stage Raw Announces Its 2017-2018 Theater Award Recipients
The 2018 Stage Raw Theater Awards celebrate excellence on the Los Angeles stages in venues of 99-seats or under. This fourth annual edition included productions that opened between January 1, 2017 and May 31, 2018. Stage Raw is a community funded professional journalism website that was created in response to the decline of arts coverage in local mainstream and alternative media.The Awards ceremony was held Monday night, August 20, at Los Angeles Theatre Center, 514 S. Spring Street in downtown Los Angeles, hosted by Coeurage Theatre Company, and co-directed by Jer Adrianne Lelliott, Thaddeus Shafer and Lauren Ludwig. Winners notated in red below.
