BIO

Tilly Tremayne appeared on Coronation Street as Dr Marian Taylor, a graphologist who was called as an expert witness at the trial of Deirdre Rachid and Jon Lindsay heard at Weatherfield County Court in March 1998.

Her other credits include roles in Poldark, Wish Me Luck, Casualty, London's Burning, Touching Evil, Heartbeat, The Vice, Doctors and the 1972 film The Love Pill. On stage she has appeared in productions of Macbeth, The Bourgeois Gentilhomme, The Front Page, Fallen Angels, Blackbird, A Conversation, The Reporter, Adam Bede, Present Laughter, Wilde at Heart, Women Beware Women and The Holy Rosenbergs.

She is married to actor Trevor Peacock who appeared in the untransmitted Christmas Special of Pardon The Expression in 1965.

The National Theatre announced full casting for the highly anticipated West End transfer of director Lyndsey Turner's acclaimed production of The Crucible.  With set designed by Es Devlin, this contemporary new staging of Arthur Miller's gripping parable of power and its abuse will play at the Gielgud Theatre from 7 June until 2 September, with a press night on 15 June 2023.
