The Musical, written by award-winning FringeNYC show Young Olympians and the Most Amazingly Awesome Adventure Ever playwright, Sarah Shulman,with lyrics by Caitlyn Joy, and music by Callan Holderbaum. This encore presentation will run for a limited time before making its way to FringeNYC in October. SUPER! The Musical is one of only three theatre for young audience shows chosen for inclusion in the festival.

Maryland Ensemble Theatre Presents PETER AND THE STARCATCHER
Maryland Ensemble Theatre (MET) presents a grown up's prequel to Peter Pan, where a dozen actors play more than 100 unforgettable characters. An apprentice starcatcher (13 year-old Molly Aster) takes to the high seas with a trunk full of magic 'starstuff' and three orphan boys while being pursued by a boat-load of pirates. Peter and the Starcatcher was written by Rick Elice (Jersey Boys, Addams Family) with music by Wayne Barker. This adaptation is based on the 2006 novel of the same name by humorist Dave Barry and suspense writer Ridley Pearson.

Maryland Ensemble Theatre's (MET) and MET ensemble members Sarah Shulman and Thom Huenger bring to life their spin on Greek Tragedy with a rocking performance of Oedipus Rox, sponsored by Kohl Building Products. The story of a man destined to fail will be on the Main Stage for four weeks opening April 8 and running to May 1 (Thursdays through Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m.) There will be an 8pm "pay what you can" preview performance on April 7.

MET to Open 18th Season with ONE MAN, TWO GUVNORS
Maryland Ensemble Theatre (MET) will present the inaugural play in its 18th Mainstage season, the hysterical hit show, One Man, Two Guvnors. Written by Richard Bean, and directed by MET Artistic Director Tad Janes, the play will run at MET for four weeks beginning September 11.

Maryland Ensemble Theatre to Present THE ARSONISTS
Maryland Ensemble Theatre (MET) continues its seventeenth Mainstage season with the satirical dark comedy "The Arsonists" by Max Frisch, and translated by Alistair Beaton. Inspired by the Communist takeover of Czechoslovakia in 1948, this absurdist allegory satirizes the way in which people can be manipulated into accommodating their own destruction. In the play, fires are becoming something of a problem, popping up all over town, but Mr. Biedermann has it all under control. A respected member of the community, he tries to live a life of blameless middle-class decency. It is this sense of bourgeois propriety that renders Biedermann defenseless when two strangers finesse their way into his home and settle in. But when they start filling his attic with petrol drums, will he help them light the fuse?
Comedy Pigs Sets 22nd Season
The Comedy Pigs, Maryland Ensemble Theatre's (MET) hilarious improv troupe are returning for their 22nd season with 26 performances which will include a brand new sketch show. Since the Comedy Pigs debuted in 1993, they have performed over 500 shows including nationwide improv festivals, have been featured on Comedy Central and have been guests at the National Pork Producers Convention. The upcoming 22nd season promises plenty of laughs with some new twists and audience favorites.
