I have never been more attached to a show like You’re A Catch, and if I could go back to that week, I would. I’m currently in another show this week for Winchester’s Performing Arts society and even among a different group, I have several cast members singing songs from You’re A Catch that are just constantly stuck in their heads.

How theatre should, or should not, be addressing Brexit is a constant topic of conversation. But while Lucy Prebble's phenomenal new work - a combination of horror, espionage thriller, love story and satire, with dazzlingly theatrical framing - doesn't centre around the B world, it is, unquestionably, the play for the present moment.
The Old Vic Announces Casting For Lucy Prebble's A VERY EXPENSIVE POISON
The Old Vic today announces casting for Lucy Prebble's new play A Very Expensive Poison, based on the book by Luke Harding and directed by John Crowley. The cast includes Thomas Arnold, Tom Brooke, MyAnna Buring, Callum Coates, Marc Graham, Amanda Hadingue, Yasmine Holness-Dove, Lloyd Hutchinson, Robyn Moore, Peter Polycarpou, Sarah Seggari, Michael Shaeffer, Reece Shearsmith, Gavin Spokes and Bea Svistunenko. A Very Expensive Poison opens at The Old Vic on 5 September with previews from 20 August.

Casting Announced for FANNY & ALEXANDER at The Old Vic
Casting is today announced for Fanny & Alexander at The Old Vic. Legendary filmmaker Ingmar Bergman's masterpiece Fanny and Alexander is adapted for the stage by BAFTA award-winning writer Stephen Beresford and directed by Old Vic Associate Director Max Webster, opening on 1 March 2018 with previews from 21 February 2018. The cast includes Penelope Wilton, Thomas Arnold, Lolita Chakrabarti, Kevin Doyle, Karina Fernandez, Annie Firbank, Matt Gavan, Tim Lewis, Gary MacKay, Gloria Obianyo, Vivian Oparah, Michael Pennington, Hannah James Scott, Jonathan Slinger, Catherine Walker and Sargon Yelda.
OSLO Celebrates International Day of Peace
The critically acclaimed production of OSLO, currently playing to sold-out houses at the National Theatre, transfers to the Harold Pinter Theatre from 2 October until 30 December. A series of special events has been announced to celebrate International Day of Peace on 21 September.

West End's THE LORAX Announces Full Casting, Including Simon Lipkin
The Old Vic has today announced casting for David Greig's adaptation of Dr. Seuss's The Lorax, directed by Max Webster. Simon Lipkin will play the role of the Lorax, alongside puppeteers Laura Cubitt and Ben Thompson, whilst Simon Paisley Day takes the role of the Once-ler.
