New Repertory Theatre Adds Nine Diverse New Members to the Board of Directors

New Repertory Theatre has added ten fantastic new members to its Board of Directors. Working alongside New Rep's Anti-Racism Action Plan, which states that board will be comprised of 50% members of color by July 2023, members who identify as Black, Indigenous, and/or People of Color now account for 33.3% of the board.

Richmond Triangle Players continues its 2018-19 season with The Laramie Project, the groundbreaking play by Moises Kaufman and members of the Tectonic Theater Project that chronicles the people and events that led up to the horrific murder of Matthew Shepard, as well as the immediate aftermath. Virginia Rep Announces The Extension Of ERMA BOMBECK: AT WIT'S END

Due to extraordinary popular demand, Virginia Rep is pleased to announce the second extension of the one-woman play, Erma Bombeck: At Wit's End, starring Catherine Shaffner as the humorist/housewife, Erma Bombeck. Before the show opened, the play (originally slated to close on April 8th) was extended one week to close on to April 15th. The hilariously entertaining show, directed by John Moon, has been met with such popular and critical acclaim, an additional two week extension has been announced. Company of Fools Artist John Glenn Receives Excellence in the Arts Governor's Award

Company of Fools and Sun Valley Center for the Arts are pleased to announce that Core Company Artist John Glenn is among the 2016 recipients of the Governor's Awards in the Arts. Governor C. L. Butch Otter and First Lady Lori Otter announced this year's honorees in August.  Glenn received the Excellence in the Arts distinction.  This is the third award from Idaho's Governors in Company of Fools' 21 year history - Denise Simone, Core Company Artist, received the 2014 Excellence in the Arts and in 2004 Company of Fools was awarded the same distinction.
