Young People's Chorus of NYC Recognizes Holocaust Remembrance Day with Special Presentation of BRUNDIBAR
In recognition of Holocaust Remembrance Day, The Young People’s Chorus of New York City (YPC) will perform the historic and poignant children’s opera, “Brundibár” at The Museum of Jewish Heritage on Sunday, January 29 at 3 p.m. The performance will feature a cast of 40 choristers and a 13-piece orchestra, conducted by YPC Associate Conductor Sophia Papoulis, with direction by Eric Einhorn of On Site Opera and costumes by Beth Goldenberg.
Young People's Chorus of New York City Announces Summer Season Performances
The world-renowned Young People's Chorus of New York City (YPC) has announced an exciting lineup of summer performances beginning Saturday, May 14 at 2:30 p.m. with a public singalong at Josie Robertson Plaza at Lincoln Center in New York City and running through July with performances at two of the west's premier festivals: Sing A Mile High in Denver and Festival Napa Valley.
The Joyce Theater Foundation to Present Stephen Petronio Company World Premiere Performances
The Joyce Theater Foundation (Linda Shelton, Executive Director) welcomes the return of Stephen Petronio Company to the New York stage. The triple bill, featuring a world premiere collaboration with Monstah Black and the Young People’s Chorus of New York City, will play The Joyce Theater from May 17-22. A new opera by Gordon Getty, Goodbye, Mr. Chips, will receive its New York premiere—as an opera reimagined for film—on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at 7 p.m. The public screening, co-presented by New York City Opera (NYCO) and Festival Napa Valley, will take place at the Walter Reade Theater, Lincoln Center, 165 W. 65th Street, New York, NY 10023.
Voices Of Ascension Postpones January 27 Concert

Thomas Cabaniss' SKETCHES OF VENASQUE Released
Recorded at Schroeder Hall at the Green Music Center at Sonoma State University in 2019, Sketches of Venasque is a 6-movement set of miniatures for solo piano inspired by Cabaniss's trip to southeastern France with his wife Deborah in 1990.
