Wilderado to Release New LP 'Talker'; Drop Title Track with Fall US Headline Dates
Max Rainer (lead singer, guitarist), Tyler Wimpee (guitarist, vocals), Justin Kila (drums) – have announced the September 20th release of their new full-length studio album Talker via Bright Antenna Records. In addition to the album announcement and new single, the band has shared that they will embark on a fall headline tour, extending their already extensive US headline run that has them out all of June and July before heading to Chicago to play Lollapalooza in August.

Tulsa, Oklahoma’s Wilderado – Max Rainer (lead singer, guitarist), Tyler Wimpee (guitarist, vocals), Justin Kila (drums) – released the lyric video for 'Tomorrow' from UK visual artist Edd Carr. This marks the band's third collaboration with Carr who created last month's lyric video for 'Sometimes' and last fall's single “In Between ft. Matt Berninger.' Watch the video here!
Review: Blanchard-Lemmons' FIRE SHUT UP Makes Another Splash at the Met
It was tough separating the opera from the event when FIRE SHUT UP IN MY BONES opened the first post-Covid pandemic season at the Met. Back then, in September 2021, FIRE made history as the first opera by a Black composer, Terence Blanchard with his librettist Kasi Lemmons (based on the book by Charles M. Blow), to make its way to the Met stage. This week, it returned to show that contemporary opera can have “legs” on the big stage of the company.
