DreamWorks Theatricals and MTI Team Up for Emerging Writers Program
DreamWorks Theatricals and Music Theatre International, in partnership with NBCUniversal’s Global Talent Development & Inclusion (GTDI) team, announce today the DreamWorks Theatricals/MTI Emerging Writers Program, a new partnership that will identify diverse teams of bookwriters, composers and lyricists with unique voices and points of view to develop musical adaptations of popular DreamWorks Animation titles intended for the Music Theatre International catalogue.
AMC Announces its Projects Currently in Development
At the Television Critics' Association (TCA) Press Tour, AMC Networks and AMC Studios announced a partial list of current projects in development. The broad slate, which includes potential AMC Studios series being developed for the company's Entertainment Group and also projects being developed for potential sale to other content companies, reflects fresh ideas and strong voices from creators and talent including Scott Z. Burns, Katie Couric, Owen and Stephen King, Megan Mostyn Brown, Armadu Garba, Eliza Clark, Mark Johnson, Zack Whedon, Scott Gold, Ilana Glazer, T Bone Burnett and many others.
Bizable Media Appoints Lucy Veale As Director, Business Affairs And Production
Most recently, Veale was the Business Affairs Analyst in the entertainment group at Dentons Canada LLC where she worked on a wide variety of production-related legal and business affairs in the film, television, and new media area. Before joining Dentons she served as Business Affairs Coordinator at Shaftesbury where she worked on high profile television series and projects produced by their digital division. She also held the position of Director of Development and Associate Producer at Accent Entertainment.

On September 2nd and 3rd, You're A Good Man Charlie Brown The Musical, is coming to 54 BELOW. But this isn't your usual production of the show. This concert version of the musical will have a cast of kids, (12-13 years old) which is different from past productions of the show, since it is usually performed with a cast of adults playing children.
