Today, we're featuring Ted Wass circa 1981. Wass is best known for his roles as Danny Dallas on the series Soap (1977-1981) and as Nick Russo on the NBC sitcom Blossom (1991-1995). Since Blossom ended its run in 1995, Wass has retired from acting and has focused only on directing episodic television. In 1976, Wass made his Broadway debut in the production Grease playing Danny Zuko.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Emmy award-winner Doris Roberts has been cast in the ABC pilot 'Counter Culture.' The comedy is written by Stephnie Weir, executive produced by Claudia Lonow, and directed by Ted Wass.
Cassidy Bro's 'Ruby & the Rockits' Set for ABC Family
The ABC Family is set to air 'Ruby and the Rockits', Shaun Cassidy developed it for his brothers, David & Patrick, with youngest brother, Ryan on sets & props. 'Ruby and The Rockits' is an ABC Studios half-hour comedy series executive-produced by Shaun Cassidy ('Invasion') and Marsh McCall ('Carpoolers'). 'Ruby and The Rockits' follows Patrick Gallagher, a former teen idol who has chosen to lead a quiet life with his wife and two sons. But when his former Rockits band mate and brother, David, shows up unexpectedly with his new-found teenage daughter in tow, the Gallagher family's life becomes anything but normal. David, who refuses to give up his past glory days, comes to Patrick for help raising Ruby while he continues to perform.
Veteran Producer Tony Adams Dies of Stroke at 52
Tony Adams, the veteran film and stage producer whose credits include Blake Edwards' Pink Panther hits, S.O.B. '10,' and the film and stage versions of Victor/Victoria died Saturday, October 22nd, of a stroke at Beth Israel Hospital in Manhattan. He was surrounded by family and friends. He was 52 years old.
