J. TAYLOR WRIGHT is a theater maker and performer from Texas living and working between Dallas and New York City.

Taylor is a trained gymnast and musician, with concentrations in tumbling and trampoline, percussion (concert/kit), violin, cello, woodwinds, and piano. He has been a guest teaching artist teaching voice, speech, acting, dance, and theater arts at Ellis Co. Children’s Theatre, Waxahachie High School, North Texas Performing Arts, and his alma mater, Coastal Carolina University, where he obtained a BFA in Musical Theatre in 2015. Other training includes workshops with Pilobolus Dance Theatre, Ailey II, Hangar Lab Company and SITI Company.
