Taryn Grimes is now an award-winning writer/director/producer who creates scripted and documentary projects for television, film, and digital media companies.
Before transitioning to writing and producing, she was a Broadway, film and television actress. Most notable roles include Eleanor Dare, in the Emmy Award-winning PBS Mini-Series, “Roanoke: The Lost Colony," and Muriel McComber in "Take Me Along" on Broadway.
She received the Silver Screen Award from the International Film and Video Festival for writing and producing the CNBC Special, Generations of Pride. She has authored 5 children's books, was the 2010 Woman of Achievement in the Arts Honoree, presented by the Girls Scouts of America and received Senatorial and Congressional recognition for her accomplishments.
