BIO

Tara Cox has a BA in Theatre from UCLA, has studied improv with the Groundlings, and has taken 10+ years of private voice lessons with amazing teachers such as Mary Jo Duprey and Jin Hee Kim. Some of her favorite roles she has played are Sarah Brown in "Guys and Dolls," for which she won the Goldie Award for "Best Leading Actress in a Musical," Rosie Alvarez in "Bye Bye Birdie," and "Pinky Tuscadero in "Happy Days the Musical." She is currently performing with East West Players in their "Theatre for Youth Tour" portraying DREAM activist Cinthya Felix, as well as playing Michelle in SVCAC's production of "Sister Act the Musical."
