London Phil Launches Classical Nights at The Soraya
Classical Nights at The Soraya will return this fall with a fascinating array of four different performances that explore a boundless collection of music. London Philharmonic Orchestra (LPO) will launch classical events at The Soraya on Thursday, October 10 with the U. S. premiere of Cuban American composer Tania León’s “Raíces” (“Origins”).

Debut Sounds: Sound in Motion is the London Philharmonic Orchestra’s annual concert showcasing the LPO’s Young Composers.
The concept sees five composers and eight choreographers collaborating to create the final works shown, with the music played by musicians from the LPO Foyle Future Firsts Development Programme, alongside LPO players, all led by representatives of the LPO Fellow Conductors.

The London Philharmonic Orchestra (LPO), under the baton of Principal Conductor Edward Gardner, will perform at The Soraya with American concert violinist Randall Goosby on Thursday, Oct. 10 at 8 p.m., performing Barber's “Violin Concerto, Op. 14,” featuring violin soloist Goosby, Tchaikovsky's “Symphony No. 4 in F minor, Op. 36,” and Tania León's 'Raíces (Origins).'
