BIO
Sydney watched her first full length musical, Beauty and the Beast, at a local playhouse at the age of four. Within a few years, she performed on that same stage, inspired by watching other young actors. With the Pixie Dust Players in Summit, NJ, she performed in Winnie the Pooh, Yes Virginia, Shrek the Musical, Hundred Dresses, Sleeping Beauty, and Camp Rock. From there, she began working with other New Jersey and New York based theater groups.
In the fall of 2015, she was invited to join the cast of "A Christmas Story, the Musical" National Tour and, then, was invited again in 2016! The following year, she was cast in the national Broadway tour of "The King and I"! Between the two productions, she has performed in 25 states in the U.S. and Toronto, Canada.
Aside from performing arts, Sydney loves to figure skate, play piano, read, draw, and work on crafts projects!
Other favorite performances include: South Pacific, Lyrics for Life 2014, Annie Jr, Anne of Green Gables, Billy Elliot, Symphony of the Fourth Dimension, and Philippe Parreno's HNypNyosis

The Early Night Show with Joshua Turchin- Virtual Edition (Corona Cabaret) continues with the release of a new episode featuring special guests: Sydney Chan (A Christmas Story Broadway National Tour, The King and I Broadway National Tour), Emily Jewel Hoder (Les Miserables Broadway National Tour) and Amanda Kopleman.

Hailing from Chagrin Falls, Elena Shaddow takes on the character of the British schoolteacher hired by the King of Siam to educate his wives and children.
