The Young Company Winter Festival Takes the (Virtual) Stage With Greater Boston Stage Company

The Young Company Winter Festival 2021, performed by actors in grades 1-12, may look a little different this year, but it retains the great joy, dedication, entertainment, and hard work of years past. Winter Festival 2021 is the culmination of six weeks of rehearsals by the students and their professional directors and stage management teams.

Theatre School at DePaul University's THE PHANTOM TOLLBOOTH Opens 10/7

The Theatre School at DePaul University will present The Phantom Tollbooth, by Susan Nanus, based on the book by Norton Juster, and directed by special guest David Catlin (founding ensemble member, Lookingglass Theatre Company) as the first production of the 2014-2015 Chicago Playworks for Families and Young Audiences season. This production opens Tuesday, October 7, and runs through Saturday, November 15, 2014, at DePaul's historic Merle Reskin Theatre. Performances are Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10 AM, and Saturdays at 2 PM. Friday performances (10 AM) will be held on October 17 and November 7. A special Sunday performance (2 PM) will be held on October 26. There will be no Saturday performance on October 25.

Main Street Theater's Education Department to Present THE PHANTOM TOLLBOOTH, 2/21-23

Adventure tale! Fairytale! Wacky tale!! Ten students from Main Street Theater's Education Department dive into the Kingdom of Wisdom in The Phantom Tollbooth, by Susan Nanus, from the classic book by Norton Juster. There are 3 public performances: Friday and Saturday, February 21 and 22, at 7:30pm, and Sunday, February 23 at 3:30pm.
