"When I saw the movie, I was just like: 'I get you, I so get you'… When I did Wicked we used to say 'everyone has a little green in them.' And that's what I feel like Max is about. Even though he has a diagnosed condition, everyone feels, you know, uncomfortable in their skin at some point. So that, I related to right away and just, the idea of connection."

Colm Wilkinson is having an exciting year. He's one of the founding artists of Theatre 20, he will be appearing in the much anticipated feature film version of Les Miserables and he's about to embark on a Christmas tour entitled Christmas, Broadway and Beyond. Featuring Christmas tunes as well as favourites from his solo albums, Colm will be dazzling audiences throughout Canada over the holiday season. BWW caught up with him recently to talk about the new show, as well as passing the Jean Valjean torch to Hugh Jackman.
Company, Bloodless and Raindogs Make Up Theatre 20's Inaugural Season
Theatre 20 announced an exciting inaugural season in a star-studded event this past Monday, January 23rd at Toronto's National Club. Legendary musical theatre performer (and Toronto native son) Colm Wilkinson will make his directorial debut with Bloodless: The Story of Burke and Hare, Theatre 20 will partner with Sheridan College for a production of UK Fringe hit Raindogs and finally, Adam Brazier will direct a re-imagining of Stephen Sondheim's hit Company.
