Susan Deming

Susan Deming was recently honored to join the Impro Theatre Ensemble after a long and varied run as a stand-up comic and improv/sketch performer at such venues as The LA Improvisation, The Comedy Underground, The Comedy Union, The Bungalow Club, iO West and ACME Comedy Theatre. Susan is a proud alumna of both the Groundlings Sunday Company and the Second City Conservatory, LA.

A theatre graduate of Northwestern University's School of Speech, Susan has played on the stages of the Goodman Theatre, Wisdom Bridge, The Second City, Drury Lane Oakbrook and Marriott’s Lincolnshire Theatre in Chicago and East West Players, Los Angeles Repertory Company and Circus Theatricals in Los Angeles. Her numerous musical theatre credits include a successful run as Grizabella/Jellylorum/Jenny Anydots in the German company of "Cats,” and she has shot dozens of national commercials, typically making judgmental faces at someone.

Television appearances include “The Affair” on Showtime, “Fresh off the Boat” on ABC, “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” on FX and “Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!” on Adult Swim. Susan was honored to headline a Tribeca Television Pilot Official Selection series, “Tantalum," and has appeared in popular web comedy series “Like and Subscribe” on Funny or Die and “Don’t Tell Anyone, But I’m Dating the President,” "Armchair Presidents," and "Epic Rap Battles of History" on YouTube, as well as feature films, “The Browsing Effect,” “His Secret Marriage” and “Tijuana Jackson: Purpose Over Prison.” Additionally, Susan enjoys a multi-hyphenate career as a casting director, audiobook narrator, film, animation and podcast producer and screenwriter through her production company, Pick Up Pix.
