Local Student To Represent San Diego In State Finals Of POETRY OUT LOUD
Kylie Greaves, a Senior at Grossmont Middle High School in San Diego took first place in the 2018 countywide Poetry Out Loud competition on February 6th at The San Diego Central Library, Downtown. Greaves will represent San Diego at the upcoming state finals. Harmony Hernandez of San Diego School for Creative and Performing Arts received second place at the event. Write Out Loud - an organization founded in 2007 with a commitment to inspire, challenge and entertain by reading short stories aloud for a live audience coordinates the national program locally.
