Steve Tardio is currently playing "Virgil Donati" in the Off-Broadway Musical Comedy, "TRUFFLES - Music! Mushrooms! Murder!!!"
Steve is a NYC based voiceover actor who has voiced animated characters for GEO Films/Talisman Studios, ON Animation/DQ Entertainment, Ocon Studios, Animundi/Mondo Television; television commercials for Fisher-Price Toys, Dannon Yogurt, Pepsi, Ford Motor Company; and narrated television shows for NBA-TV and Vevo.com. Steve is also a musician and improvisor with over 10 years of experience with training from The Second City-Chicago, the Upright Citizens Brigade, the Peoples Improv Theater, Chicago City Limits and the Magnet Theater. Steve also performs as an “Andsemble” member of the ANDTheater Company, writes and acts with his Musical Improv Sketch Comedy group, “MISC, Inc.” and performs with his musical improv team, “The 29th Street Revue” around the city. An Italian family in the midst of a celebration, thrown into disarray by a missing prized truffle, looming money issues and an unsolved murdera??it really can't get better than this, am I right? What sounds like the next great television drama is given a musical flare and thus becomes a production that is equally as entertaining as it is creative. What we have here is Truffles: Music! Mushrooms! Murder!!!, an interactive theatrical experience that brings an unsuspecting audience into the world of the Donati family as they prepare for the annual auction of their two-pound truffle. A night destined to be filled with delicious food, big bucks and the deadly comedy of untold family grievances, Truffles returns for its second installment with a renewed zest that will leave audiences craving the songs and drama that only a prized truffle can inspire.

More than six years ago, a group of theatrically-trained artists came together to create spontaneous and uproarious retro-themed improv-comedy shows. Their brilliance at stage craft made each event deeper and funnier than any other troupe of its kind. Today, the multi-award-winning national improv comedy troupe - the Improvisational Repertory Theatre Ensemble - is a respected leader in both the improv and theatrical circles. An alum of numerous comedy and theatre festivals, IRTE is an ensemble of comedy actors and writers who develop, produce and perform a season of original themed improvisational shows, following the basic model of traditional repertory theatre.
