Mercury Theater Chicago Will Present SHEAR MADNESS

L. Walter Stearns, Executive Director of Mercury Theater Chicago, announced today the cast and creative team of the upcoming SHEAR MADNESS, running on the main stage from February 7 through March 29. The press opening is Sunday, February 16 at 7pm. This hit comedic murder-mystery has slayed the hearts of audiences around the world for more than 40 years, following a mysterious murder above the Shear Madness Salon - leaving it to the audience to catch the killer among the actors. SHEAR MADNESS will be directed by the Jeff Award winning Warner Crocker.

Wayside Theatre's CHURCH BASEMENT LADIES Begins 6/1

Wayside Theatre's Artistic Director Warner Crocker has announced the cast and schedule for the first production of Wayside Theatre's 52nd Season, Church Basement Ladies. This musical is inspired by the books of Janet Letnes Martin and Suzann Nelson, including the best seller Growing Up Lutheran, and is written by Jim Stowell and Jessica Zuehlke, with Music and Lyrics by Drew Jansen.
Middletown's Wayside Theatre Highlights Local Teens in THE TEMPEST Tonight

Wayside Theatre's Spring Emerging Artist production will be The Tempest by William Shakespeare, in cooperation with Barns of Rose Hill in Berryville, VA. It will be held tonight, April 19 at 7:30pm and April 20th at 2:30pm and 8:00pm. This production will be directed by Wayside Theatre Education Director, Molly MacLagan, and comes as part of Wayside Theatre's 'Education and the Arts' month. The cast and crew features students from Clarke, Warren, Frederick, and Shenandoah Counties, as well as West Virginia.
