Interview: Mitch Hara Talks Revamped MUTANT OLIVE 2.0 at the Hudson Guild Theatre

Back in 2015, I caught a solo performance play Mutant Olive, created and performed by Mitch Hara. I decided to speak with him about his revamped play, Mutant Olive 2.0, soon to begin performance at the Hudson Theatre in Hollywood, to ask about the new show, it’s title, and what’s been going on during the 8 years since Mutant Olive in its original form premiered.

Fringe Favorite MOUNT VERNON Returns for 4 Weeks Only

Mount Vernon, a play by Rena Brannan that enjoyed an acclaimed run at this year's Hollywood Fringe Festival, will return to the Hudson Guild for four weeks only, it was announced today. Directed by Peter Marc Jacobson and featuring Sophie Ward and Brandon Ruiter, Mount Vernon will play one preview performance on Friday, August 26 at 8pm and is set to open on Saturday, August 27. The limited engagement will run through September 18 only.
NO, I WON'T TAKE YOU TO THE AIRPORT! Opens at The Hudson Theatre Mainstage This Month

Rich Hippie Productions has announced that actor and writer Courtney Abbiati will bring her new comic solo show, No, I Won't Take You to the Airport!, directed by Ryan Weiss, to the Hudson Theatre Mainstage on Wednesdays at 8pm for eight weeks only beginning April 13. Opening is set for Wednesday, April 20 at 8pm, and the limited engagement will run through June 8 only.

Tobacco Rd Band Celebrates Newly-Minted Record Deal with Show at Honky Tonk Central Tonight

Rolling Stone-recognized singer/songwriter Eric Durrance and his Tobacco Rd Band (TRB) will rock Nashville deep-Southern style, with a free concert and party at Honky Tonk Central today, September 21. The show will help kick off Music City USA's newest independent record label, Silvercreek Records, which is sponsoring the event along with Coors Light. Admission will be first-come, first-served.
