MoMA Announces The 18th TO SAVE AND PROJECT Festival Of Film Restoration

Running from January 13 to February 5, 2022, To  Save and Project: The 18th MoMA International Festival of Film Preservation includes more than 60 newly preserved features and shorts from 19 countries, many having world or  North American premieres and presented in original versions not seen since their initial  theatrical releases.
The Lambs Exhibit Short Films Not Seen In Nearly A Century

In the early 1930's, The Lambs created 2-reel comedy short films with Columbia Pictures. These shorts were created as a means to raise fund for the Club during the Great Depression. Most of these films have never been seen in almost a century. The films offer a rare historical look at The Lambs, its famous members and activities. The presentation included: Shave it with Music (1932), The Curse of the Broken Heart (1933), Poor Fish (1933) and Hear'em and Weep (1931).

Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts announced today the lineup for the Big Umbrella Festival, an international endeavor that brings together arts professionals and thought leaders, and offers performances across New York City for children on the autism spectrum. Kicking off in April 2018, during Autism Awareness Month, the festival is the first of its kind dedicated to arts programs for young people on the autism spectrum and their families.

The Silent Clowns Film Series announced today their fall 2015 season entitled 'Before Batman: Douglas Fairbanks' ZORRO (and son)', celebrating the iconic character brought to the screen by silent era swashbuckler Douglas Fairbanks in two blockbuster action pictures. The screenings of THE MARK OF ZORRO and DON Q, SON OF ZORRO will have live musical accompaniment and will take place at the Bruno Walter Auditorium at the Library for the Performing Arts.
