Thirty years and 500 stories later, Steve Kroft retires from 60 MINUTES comfortably knowing the show, now in its 52nd season, will go on without him.  He makes this and other observations on his remarkable career in an interview with his colleague, Lesley Stahl, in a special hour to be broadcast on 60 MINUTES Sunday, Sept. 8 (7:00-8:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
60 MINUTES' Steve Kroft to Retire

 Steve Kroft will retire from 60 MINUTES at the end of his 30th season on America's most-watched news program.  The 73-yr-old correspondent is currently the news magazine's longest tenured reporter, having reported nearly 500 60 MINUTES stories – many among the broadcast's biggest moments.    Kroft will announce his plans to step down this Sunday, May 19th after the broadcast's 51st season finale.  60 MINUTES will celebrate his 50-year career as a journalist with a special tribute broadcast this September.
CBS Renews Six More Dramas and Two News Programs For 2019-2020

CBS announced today that it has renewed six more drama series and two news programs for the 2019-2020 broadcast season. SEAL TEAM, S.W.A.T., MADAM SECRETARY, BULL, HAWAII FIVE-0 and MACGYVER will return to the CBS lineup next season, along with longstanding primetime news shows 60 MINUTES and 48 HOURS. With these pickups, CBS has now renewed 18 series for next year.

Tanya Simon was named Executive Editor of 60 MINUTES, it was announced today by Bill Owens, the newsmagazine's executive producer.
RATINGS: 60 MINUTES is Number One

60 MINUTES landed in the # 1 slot last week, drawing 10.25 million viewers according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Sunday, March 24, 2019.  It was the fourth straight week – and the 13th time this season – the CBS News magazine finished among the top five programs.  It was the second time this year 60 MINUTES claimed the top spot on Nielsen's list.

Bay Street Theater Announces Successful Opening Night For The World Premiere Of FELLOW TRAVELERS

Bay Street Theater and Sag Harbor Center for the Arts is pleased to announce a successful opening night for the World Premiere of FELLOW TRAVELERS, a new play by Jack Canfora, directed by Michael Wilson. The show opened on Saturday, June 2 and was met with rave reviews and a positive audience response.
