Roy Firestone Brings His ONE MAN SHOW To Jewish Family Services Of The Desert For One Very Special Performance, Sunday, November 17 at 3:00 pm at the UC Riverside Palm Desert Campus. Critically acclaimed as a performer, monologist, humorist, musician and impressionist, Roy Firestone, the seven-time Emmy® Award and seven-time Cable ACE Award winner, has performed in more than 2,000 venues spanning over two decades. He has shared the stage with performers Josh Groban, Reba McEntire, David Foster, Forest Whitaker, and Bon Jovi. As an actor, Firestone was featured in the Academy Award-winning film Jerry Maguire, where he played himself in an unforgettable and often repeated scene with Academy Award winner Cuba Gooding Jr. I had the opportunity to catch up with Mr. Firestone as he was preparing for his desert performance. The New Jersey Hall of Fame (NJHOF) announces the launch of the nation's first mobile Hall of Fame Museum with a public unveiling and ceremony today, June 24, 11:00am, at the Flag Plaza in Liberty State Park in Jersey City. The ceremony will honor Hall of Fame inductees and sponsors and features inductee, Astronaut Buzz Aldrin. A series of other media events follow at the Trenton Statehouse on June 25, the Atlantic City Air Show on June 26, and the Thomas Edison National Historical Park on June 27.

Forget the Olivier's, the Hepburn's or the Royalty of Europe. The other day Carol (Channing) got to meet Yo Gabba Gabba! The group is a popular kids' show currently airing on Nick jr. DJ Lance Rock, Muno (the red cyclops), Foofa (the pink flower bubble), Brobee (a little hairy green monster), Toodee (the blue cat-dragon) and Plex (the magic yellow robot) joined 'Good Day LA' for a sing-a-long and dance.
