Wight made his professional stage debut in 2000, appearing in the West End production of "Our House." He went on to perform in several other West End productions, including "The Ladykillers," "Dealer's Choice," and "Don Juan in Soho." Wight's performance in "Dealer's Choice" earned him an Olivier Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor.
In addition to his work on stage, Wight has also appeared in a number of television shows and films.
