Change Of Venue For MASS APPEAL Announced
The Wanzie Presents production of “Mass Appeal” - originally slated to be presented at White Elephant Cabaret Theater - will now be presented on stage in the Starlite Room @ Savoy where curtain time has been moved up to 7:30 pm for the evening performances on Friday July 14th and Saturday July 22. The Sunday, July 23 matinee remains a 2:00 pm curtain time.
Wanzie Presents' MASS APPEAL to Play White Elephant Cabaret Theater in July
Former Orlando theater and opera mainstay Frank McClain, who left Orlando in 2012 to assume the role of Managing Director of Opera Tampa and who then relocated to Dubuque, Iowa (2015) to become the Executive and Artistic Director of the Grand Opera House, will return to Orlando this summer to direct Stephen Lewis and Michael Wanzie in the Wanzie Presents production of Mass Appeal – opening on Friday, July 14th, 2023 for a limited 3-performance run.

Mountain Jam, one of the Northeast's largest rock n' roll music festivals, now in its 16th continuous year, has announced its lineup for the three-day music extravaganza May 29-31, 2020. The Festival will feature over 30 bands across three days including headliners Trey Anastasio Band, Gov't Mule, and Brandi Carlile plus performances from Jason Isbell And The 400 Unit, The Head and the Heart, Grace Potter, Greensky Bluegrass, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Margo Price, Yola, Hiss Golden Messenger and many more across three stages (full lineup by day below). Additionally, the Festival will feature a special tribute performance in honor of Levon Helm's 80th birthday featuring The Midnight Ramble Band and very special guests.

It tells the story of a group of marines' last night of debauchery in San Francisco before being shipped out to war in 1963. This gritty story of love and deception has been revived as part of the British Theatre Academy's 2019 summer season at Southwark Playhouse.
Theatre Cares Vancouver Raises $25,000 For Charity
Theatre Cares Vancouver has raised $25,000! This years money will support the following groups: The Positive Women's Network, an organization that provides safe access to support and education/prevention for women affected by HIV/AIDS in communities throughout British Columbia, The Actors Fund of Canada (AFC) which assists professional Canadian entertainers maintain their health, dignity, and ability to work, the Performing Arts Lodge which provides safe and affordable housing for people in the creative community, the Stephen Lewis Foundation, an organization dedicated to the relief of the HIV/Aids pandemic in Africa, and Rainbow Refugee, a Vancouver-based community group that supports people seeking refugee protection in Canada because of persecution based on sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, or HIV status. Funds will be distributed on Dec. 1st in honour of World Aids Day.

EVIL DEAD Comes to Grandel Theatre 10/10-22
Emery Entertainment, Inc. presents the St. Louis debut of the wildly popular cult classic Evil Dead - The Musical at The Grandel Theatre for a limited two-week engagement October 10-22. Starvox Entertainment presents the Canadian Tour of London's West End hit POTTED POTTER: The Unauthorized Harry Experience - A Parody by Dan and Jeff. Written and created by two-time Olivier Award-nominated BBC Television actors Daniel Clarkson and Jefferson Turner, limited engagements will run across Canada from September 24 - December 31, 2016. POTTED POTTER is perfect for ages six to Dumbledore (who is very old, indeed).
