Review: THE SCORE, Theatre Royal Bath
If the multi award-winning TV drama Succession taught us anything, it’s that no one can take Brian Cox’s place. Fans of the Scottish actor will be pleased to know that he commands centre stage – with Logan Roy-esque verve – in Trevor Nunn’s The Score, a new play by actor-playwright OIiver Cotton at Theatre Royal Bath.

BWW Review: DESSERT, Southwark Playhouse
Glorious furniture decorates the stage, with 15th-century Venetian paintings hanging from the walls. A butler pours expensive wine and the four dinner guests congratulate him on cooking delicious food. Dessert is on its way, as is a night the five of them will never forget. Oliver Cotton's new play is a blend of unexpected twists and dark humour, directed by the seasoned Trevor Nunn, but drama is ultimately sacrificed for didactic discussion of capitalism.
Ai Weiwei Gifts Letgo Room to the National Gallery of Victoria
Ai Weiwei announced last night at the opening of Andy Warhol | Ai Weiwei that he will gift his major new installation Letgo Room, 2015, to the National Gallery of Victoria. The work was commissioned by the NGV for the exhibition Andy Warhol | Ai Weiwei which opened to the public today. Incorporating more than two million plastic building blocks the work features portraits of twenty Australian activists, advocates and champions of human rights, freedom of speech, freedom of information and freedom of the internet.

After a record breaking run at the Trafalgar Studios Peter Quilter's End of the Rainbow must end on 21 May prior to a UK tour and US opening at the Guthrie, Minneapolis on 18 January 2012. The production will then transfer to Broadway, further details to be announced shortly.
END OF THE RAINBOW Extends Its West End Run To April 16
Directed by Terry Johnson, End of the Rainbow combines humour and heartbreak to capture both the drama of Garland's final performances in London and her controversial life off stage. End of the Rainbow, which opened in Northampton in February last year, transferred to the West End in November where it has been receiving standing ovations at every performance since opening night.
