Rogue Machine to Present COME GET MAGGIE Beginning Tonight
Rogue Machine is presenting the World Premiere of “COME GET MAGGIE” in Los Angeles beginning tonight. Written by Diane Frolov, with Lyrics by Diane Frolov and Susan Justin, and Music by Susan Justin, this intergalactic, joyously quirky new musical pays homage to all those with the courage to live life as their true selves. The production is directed by Michael Pressman and runs through March 26, 2023.

Lincoln Center Theater/LCT3 will present the world premiere production of YOUR OWN PERSONAL EXEGESIS, a new play by Julia May Jonas, directed by Annie Tippe, which will begin performances Saturday, November 19 and run for six weeks only through Saturday, December 31 at the Claire Tow Theater. Opening night is Monday, December 5.

Cinema/Chicago today announced its annual free Summer Screenings Program with a selection of 17 feature films and one short film from around the world exploring the theme of adventure. All screenings are free and open to the public and take place on Wednesdays at 6:30pm from May 29 through October 2, 2019 at the Chicago Cultural Center (78 E. Washington Street, 2nd Floor) in the Claudia Cassidy Theater. Summer Screenings is presented by Cinema/Chicago in partnership with the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events and 17 consulates and cultural institutions from around the city. Following an award-winning run on the festival circuit, Billy Ray Brewton's Show Yourself is making its national VOD and DVD debut this summer. The grief-infused thriller world premiered at Bruce Campbell's Horror Film Festival in Chicago, where Bloody Disgusting praised 'the script's clever meta-textual moments and genuine human emotion.' The film went on to screen at the Chattanooga Film Festival, Charlotte Film Festival, Skyline Indie Film Festival, Toronto Indie Horror Film Festival, Splat!Fest, and the Nashville Film Festival, where Brewton took home the Graveyard Shift Audience Choice Award.
