KettlePizza, the world's leading wood-fired pizza oven kit for charcoal style kettle grills and gas grills, announced today that it has completed its acquisition of the Smokenator, a highly popular accessory for transforming a kettle grill into a smoker by controlling the grill's moisture and temperature levels. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Springfield, Vermont is calling all Steampunk aficionados and those curious to participate in the first ever Springfield Steampunk Festival. Presented by the Steampunk Society of Vermont and the Hartness House Inn, the festival is slated for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, September 11, 12 and 13 in Springfield, VT. THE SUBTLE BODY Begins Next Month at 59E59 Theaters
59E59 Theaters will welcome Gold No Trade with the NYC premiere of THE SUBTLE BODY, written by Megan Campisi, with a Chinese translation by Grant Zhong, and directed by Michael Leibenluft. THE SUBTLE BODY begins performances on Thursday, February 12 for a limited engagement through Sunday, March 1. Press opening is Sunday, February 15 at 3:30 PM. The performance schedule is Tuesday - Thursday at 7:30 PM; Friday and Saturday at 8:30 PM; and Sunday at 3:30 PM. Please note, there is no performance on Wednesday, February 25. TCG Announces Cycle A Recipients of Leadership U[niversity]-Continuing Ed Program
Theatre Communications Group (TCG) announces the 2013 Cycle A recipients of the Leadership U[niversity]-Continuing Ed program. Through the support of The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, grants of up to $5,000 will support four mid-career and veteran theatre professionals at TCG Member Theatres for learning opportunities to advance their leadership skills. The goal of this program is to strengthen the field by developing the individuals who are the core and the future of theatre. The Cycle B Continuing Ed grant application process will launch in October of 2013.

You know how you've always said, "I could've gotten that one" when watching those games shows on TV? Well, now's your time to put up or shut up as Theater Schmeater gives you a chance to immerse yourself into the inner workings of a TV quiz show complete with all the drama, backstabbing and, yes, prizes for a lucky few who can ring in with the correct answer before time runs out. The script may be a bit thin and predictable (although there were a few surprises I didn't see coming) but the antics of the cast and the interactivity with playing the game makes up for it and amounts to a good time.
Theatre Communications Group Announces Recipients of Inaugural Leadership U[niversity] Program
The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation and Theatre Communications Group (TCG) announce the inaugural round of recipients for the Leadership U[niversity] program. Six early-career theatre leaders will receive One-on-One grants for professional development via mentorships at TCG Member Theatres. Eight mid-career and veteran theatre professionals at TCG Member Theatres will receive Continuing Ed grants for learning opportunities to advance their leadership skills. The overall intent of this program is to strengthen the field by developing the individuals who are the core and the future of theatre.
