BIO

Stephanie Klapper is an award-winning Casting Director and native New Yorker whose work is frequently seen on Broadway, off-Broadway, regionally, on film, television, and streaming media. She is the founder of Stephanie Klapper Casting, an Independent Casting Group, known for their limitless imagination and creativity on a wide range of projects all over the country and the world.



Through her work on several committees with the Casting Society, Stephanie is helping to expand diversity, equity, and inclusion in the business as well as mentoring young artists and arts professionals. She is an adjunct professor with NYU’s New Studio on Broadway, a mentor with NYU Women’s Mentorship program and Fordham High School for the Arts, as well as working with the Syracuse Tepper Semester’s immersive program. She is a guest lecturer with many colleges and universities around the country.


Stephanie is dedicated to the growth of arts education, the development of new talent, and the reimagining of established works. She has been nominated for and won multiple Casting Society Artios Awards.
