Each February, the team at Echo Theatre transforms the historic Art Deco Bath House Cultural Center into a 1930's-style supper club entertainment venue, complete with a live band, dance floor, musical/dance revue, food, drink, and libations! Audiences enjoy an entertainment experience unlike anything they've seen or heard as the fictional Echo Room supper club celebrates the great women songwriters of the first half of the 20th Century. Well, actually, The Village Players of Birmingham production of Sweet Charity gives the audience more than a few laughs, it keeps them entertained through entire show. The musical is a treat to watch from the moment it starts to the very last second that Charity steps off stage with its crowd-pleasing numbers and vibrant color schemes that it is one Michigan theatre-goers will truly enjoy and remember for years to come.

Donald M. Ephraim PALM BEACH JEWISH FILM FESTIVAL to Showcase 30 Movies from Around the World
The upcoming 27th annual The Donald M. Ephraim Palm Beach Jewish Film Festival will present movies from around the world, opening with ON THE MAP, the true story of Israel's 1977 basketball team, the first to ever bring the coveted European Cup to Israel. Film director Dani Menkin and basketball legend Tal Brody will attend and participate in a post-film discussion at the January 19 screening at the Kravis Center's Cohen Pavilion.
