Bridge Street Development Corporation Hosts 9th Annual Fresh Start Home Resource Expo In Bed-Stuy Brooklyn
Bridge Street Development Corporation (BSDC), a nonprofit community-based organization located in Bedford-Stuyvesant will host its 9th annual Fresh Start Home Resource Expo, featuring Dedrick Asante-Muhammad, Senior Fellow of the Racial Wealth Divide initiative at Prosperity Now and Tamika Stembridge, Executive Director, dfree® Global Foundation, Inc. (DeForest B. Soaries, Jr., CEO & Founder). The free event will be held rain or shine on Saturday, June 30th at Boys and Girls High School, 1700 Fulton St, Brooklyn, NY from 10:00am to 3:00pm.
Stanley Lewis Opens at Betty Cuningham Gallery
Betty Cuningham Gallery is pleased to open an exhibition of the Works on Paper by Stanley Lewis in SIDECAR (the Gallery's next-door space). This will be the artist's second show with the Gallery and will run concurrently with Stanley Lewis: The Way Things Are, Works from the William Louis-Dreyfus Foundation at the New York Studio School (October 3 - November 13, 2016). The artist will be present for an opening reception in SIDECAR on Saturday October 22, from 4 -7 PM.
