To say Cable Street has been highly anticipated would be a gross understatement: it’s basically unheard of for a new, Off West End musical to completely sell out its run before a single review has been published. Nevertheless, this little show that could is absolutely deserving of its success, and seems to be destined for great things.

BWW Review: CATS at the Civic Theatre
The latest West End revival of Andrew Lloyd Webber's smash-hit musical Cats kicked off its Australasian tour last night to a packed Civic Theatre in Auckland. Nominated for two Olivier Awards (including best revival) this production of Cats was put together by the original creative team of the award winning 1981 London production and features the superb UK star Sophia Ragavelas in the role of 'Grizabella'.
CATS is Officially Aiming for Broadway Return in 2016; Fall or Spring?
The return to London of CATS has been considered a big hit, with the show extending multiple times, and already planning a limited run return for next year. Currently starring in the UK production is Kerry Ellis, through the end of April. Now it sounds like we'll be seeing the Jellicle Ball back on Broadway next year!
