In the past few years or so, acclaimed artistic multi-hyphenate Soda Persi has written a number of short theatrical scripts that featured the real and honest moments of characters experiencing both extreme life changes as well as the sometimes tough and tedious struggles of everyday life. Hitchcock Lane makes its world premiere at Studio/Stage this June as part of the Hollywood Fringe Festival.
Jem And The Holograms Parody Musical TRULY OUTRAGEOUS To Debut In Hollywood This Summer

Author and playwright Brandie June and award-winning musical theater writer Rebecca McGlynn will present the debut of their show TRULY OUTRAGEOUS — an unofficial parody musical based on the popular 80's cartoon show Jem And The Holograms. The project is currently crowdfunding on Kickstarter for a cast album and the show.

The Ark Theatre has announced that playwright-in-residence Stephen Fife will debut numerous works in its 2019/2020 season that include the world premiere of 'In The Mood' and a workshop production of 'Isabella in Oz.' The romantic comedy 'In The Mood' will begin steamy previews Friday November 8, open November 16 and continue through December 14, while family-friendly 'Isabella in Oz' opens December 9 with afternoon and evening performances. The Ark Theatre is located at 5708 Lankershim Boulevard, North Hollywood, 91601. Tickets are $20, other than previews. Limited seating. Ample street parking. TATTERED CAPES Extends Run Following Fringe Win

After a successful, sold out run at the biggest Hollywood Fringe Festival yet, the Theatre Unleashed premiere of Tattered Capes by acclaimed playwright Gregory Crafts took home the Fringe Award for "Dance and Physical Theatre" Sunday night against a tough field that also included hit shows like Cirque du Giselle, Shakedown at the Dusty Spur, Mil Grus and Scarlett Fever. The win is TU's second in a row, after taking home the award for Best Comedy last year with A Very DIE HARD Christmas.
