BIO
Skylar Jeffries (she/her) is a theatre artist graduating from The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA, with a BFA in Musical Theatre in 2022. She previously earned her arts endorsed high school diploma in drama from Frank Sinatra School of the Arts in Astoria, NY. Throughout her training, she's worked on classic musicals, new and developing musicals, straight plays, one-act play festivals, workshops, and more. She also performed in the Shubert Foundation High School Theatre Festival (2017, 2018), and was also a TDF Open Doors Scholarship recipient.

The 54 Sings in Trousers concert at 54 Below on March 12th had the same sense of anticipation and delight I felt listening to the In Trousers record for the first time and hearing the story that comes before Finn's FALSETTOS. The bouncy score to In Trousers is a gem on its own, and the 54 Below cast did it justice.

On December 31st, San Francisco Daydream, a new musical theater song cycle, was released by a group of musical theater students from University of the Arts in Philadelphia. Written by Bella Negrete and vocal directed by Alexia Correa, San Francisco Daydream is a pop folk song cycle of 9 pieces featuring a cast of 12 students and tells the tale of a classic long-distance love story.
