Skye Alyssa Friedman has loved performing since the age of 5 and made her professional theatrical debut at the age of 9 as Gretl in "The Sound of Music" at the Maltz Jupiter Theater. In 2013, she made her Broadway debut at the Palace Theatre in the revival of "Annie" directed by James Lapine and choreographed by Andy Blankenbuehler. She continued to work professionally in theatre and, in 2021, made her Off-Broadway debut with Atlantic Theater Company in the world-premiere musical “Kimberly Akimbo” by David Lindsay-Abaire and Jeanine Tesori. Shortly after this run concluded, Skye began working on Karen Hartman’s play “The Lucky Star” at 59E59, directed by Noah Himmelstein. Currently, Skye is honored to be a part of the Original Broadway Cast of “Kimberly Akimbo,” appearing at the Booth Theatre. Skye has also guest-starred on Nickelodeon's "I Am Frankie," and can be seen in numerous commercials, as well as multiple short films. She lives in New York City and is a current student in the BFA Acting program at Pace University’s School of Performing Arts. Skye is a proud member of Actors' Equity Association and is SAG-e.
