Emerging Artists Theatre presents their bi annual New Work Series. The series runs October 2 - 20 at TADA Theater and features new work from a diverse group of artists. Tickets range between $10 - $20 with shows running nightly.

All Female Trio Give Modern Dance A New Home In Hudson Valley

A-Y/dancers, a new company with a repertoire committed to the preservation of classical modern dance and the creation of emerging choreography, debuts with their first evening of dance in the Hudson Valley, October 13-14at the Howland Cultural Center. Led by three women, Sienna Blaw, Claire Deane and Erin Landers, the evening will celebrate the work of iconic postmodern master Merce Cunningham as part of the Trust's centennial milestone, acclaimed contemporary dance maker Doug Varone and emerging choreographer Hannah Garner.

Art House Productions presents HOT WINTER, featuring our first Artist-in-Residence: Raven Taisce White Founder of the BIRDHOUSE Collective. HOT WINTER follows five humans as they struggle to understand one another, unifying in difference and falling apart in sameness. The performers occupy a world between the real and unreal, moving through confusion, violence, and shifting gravities to find communication through touch and mutually decided blindness. HOT WINTER is a surrealistic look at the performers' collective universe, each of their own worlds vibrating alone within it.
