BIO
Shelly Watson is a singer, emcee, writer, producer and director.
She holds both a BM and MM in vocal performance from Juilliard and was the first recipient of the "Inter Arts Award." Conceived for and awarded to her for incorporating all elements of music, dance and drama into her study. Shelly has sung all over the world and was part of the outreach program at The Metropolitan Opera for over 3 years.
A regular at the MTV studios as well, performing skits on The State and appearing on the VMA's and TRL in addition to numerous promos.
Gotham, Stand UP NY, Carolines are just a few of the clubs Shelly has performed stand up comedy at as well.
Shelly has produced hundreds of Burlesque and Variety shows in New York City and has a radio segment for USRN entitled Hip Hopera. This is a program where Shelly makes operatic arrangements for hard core rap songs. This show is currently in it's ninth season.
