South & Saints, which opened at Maryland Ensemble Theatre in May 2023 and ran through June 2023, brought together community storytelling and civic engagement, elevating the voices of Frederick's rich African American and Black community and their considerable contributions to the landscape of Frederick as we know it today.

Maryland Ensemble Theatre's 24th Mainstage season brings absurdist comedy to Downtown Frederick with Meteor Shower by Steve Martin. MET Producing Artistic Director Tad James directs this laugh-riot, leading an incredible cast of comedic actors. Running March 25 through April 24, audiences are sure to find themselves doubled over in laughter and wracked with absurdist unease throughout the course of this night at the theater.

Maryland Ensemble Theatre (MET) presents Josh Harman's runaway NY hit Bad Jews as its 2016-2017 Season Opener. Directed by MET Associate Artistic Director, Gene Fouche fresh off her direction of METs hit production of Superior Donuts, with Assistant Director Bethanie Herman. The play will run at MET for four weeks beginning September 16.
