Shayan Sobhian is an actor and musician from Chelmsford, MA.
Upon graduation from SUNY Purchase, Sobhian was cast in an off-off Broadway premiere of The Angle Project's Lost and Guided, an original play based on the real lives of Syrian Refugees. After the play closed later that summer, he moved to LA and began working with Eric Kind.
In the summer of 2018, Sobhian was cast in Fatelink's Nathaniel Quinn, Filmmaker, an original play written and directed by Hunter Lee Hughes (Guys Reading Poems), which premiered at Highways Performance Space in Santa Monica, California.
In the fall of 2018, he was cast as James in The Chosen. Although Sobhian was slated to recur in 2019, he was ultimately replaced after being cast in DC's Legends of Tomorrow as Zari Tomaz's (Tala Ashe) brother, Behrad Tarazi. He was introduced in the Season 4 finale, and went on to recur in 10 episodes of season 5.
