Shaun Parry is a veteran performing artist from New York City. Interestingly enough, he was an x-ray and lab technician and served as a full-time missionary for two years in Japan before he dove into the world of the performing arts. He is an Eagle Scout and graduated from Brigham Young University with a BFA in Music, Dance and Theatre. To date he has taught, performed, choreographed or directed in Japan, Greece, Costa Rica, the Caribbean, Italy, Scotland, Canada, Switzerland, England, France, Peru, India, Kenya, China, NY, Hawaii, and most of the states in between. His career spans Broadway, Off-Broadway, National and International Broadway tours, the Metropolitan Opera, Ballroom National Championships, MTV and more.

Mr. Parry’s public speaking engagements include the 1st World Parliament on Spirituality, NYC BonCom Conference, the World Youth Peace Summit, the World Scholar-Athlete Games, Global Women’s Summit and the Keynote Speaker for Niagara University’s Leadership Conference. Parry was honored to represent all American civilians who helped with the rescue effort at 9/11 by carrying the Olympic flag in the Opening Ceremonies of the 2002 Olympics. While teaching and performing in Europe he was chosen as one of the Top 10 Danz-du-jour Master Teachers at the Edinburgh Festival.
As President and Founder of Promethean Spark International, (a nonprofit organization teaching essential life skills to impoverished youth worldwide through training in the performing arts) Parry runs ongoing humanitarian programs in Africa, India, Central America and the U.S. He is the creator of the Promethean Spark Methodology of Life Coaching through the Arts and conducts certification courses across the US.
Mr. Parry is the Founder and Artistic Director of The Life-Dance Troupe, the first ever dance company created out of youth from leprosy colonies. Since their historic debut performance before VIP’s and media on World Leprosy Day 2011, they have performed for over 13,000 people. At this historic performance Parry directed, choreographed and starred along with David Archuleta (American Idol Finalist), Stacey Tookey (So You Think You Can Dance Judge/Choreographer) and the Life-Dance Troupe.
Shaun Parry is on the Board of Trustees for the Musical Arts Academy of Nairobi and a member of the Advisory Board for Rising Star Outreach of India. In 2012 Mr. Parry was inducted into the Council for The World United (representing Arts and Culture). He continues to perform professionally and enjoys traveling as a motivational speaker, Master Teacher and director/choreographer around the globe.
