Sharon McCartin

Grew up on Long Island, New York and was noticed by a talent scout/agent named Mildred Green. Shortly thereafter had my first TV appearance on an episode of "Play Your Hunch" with Merv Griffin. In 1961 was cast in the role of "Balloon Girl" in the 2nd National Tour of "Gypsy" followed by a nine month stint in the 2nd National Tour of "The Sound of Music". Before attending college at Valparaiso University I was engaged in modeling jobs, TV commercials and work as an extra on several TV shows and films including "The Patty Duke Show".
