Due to audience demand, Florida Studio Theatre (FST) announces the extension of its Summer Cabaret, Who Loves You: Musical Tribute to Frankie Valli and Beyond. Produced in association with Sharon Klein Productions, Who Loves You is a celebration of the music of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, one of the most successful groups in music history. Called a?oeDynamitea?? and a?oeSharpa?? by The Observer, this high-energy music revue features the signature songs and dance moves of The Four Seasons and the musicians they inspired. Who Loves You is now held over through October 17, 2019 in FST's Goldstein Cabaret. Tickets range from $34-39 and are now on sale at floridastudiotheatre.org, or by calling (941) 366-9000.

From 1941 to 1976 New York City subway and bus riders were treated to more than 9,000 posters of 200 attractive young women all dubbed 'Miss Subways' for the month. The women on the posters were the faces of New York. They were wartime nurses in the 1940s, college girls studying to become teachers in the 1950s, and secretaries who dreamed of singing careers in the 1960s. These amazing girls shared their stories and the hopes and dreams of their generation at the legendary Friars Club. Friar Stewie Stone created some extremely funny moments as he interviewed Miss Subways, and 'The Copa Boys' performed some Four Seasons tunes.

Producers of the 5th Annual FODfest have announced more dates for this year's 32 day, international tour which honors the life of Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl, who was murdered by terrorists in Pakistan in 2002 at the age of 38. FODfest has been invited to perform in Taiwan from October 14 to 20 for the first time ever and returns to the U.S on October 21for eight more dates across six states. Acclaimed singer-songwriter Michael Smith and bluesman Corky Siegel have registered to play on Wednesday, October 28 at the Village Players Performing Arts Center in Oak Park, Illinois and more musicians of all genres register daily for the last performance dates. Interested musicians are invited to go to www.fodfest.org to register to perform in a venue on the last leg of the 2009 tour.
